I have statutory health insurance. Will you treat me?

Yes. We treat patients with statutory health insurance exclusively at our practice in Frechen.

As our practice operates under a half-time statutory health insurance contract, the number of available appointments is limited.

What does "self-payer" mean?

As a self-paying patient, you are welcome to use our private consultation service.

Fees are charged in accordance with the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).

The cost of a consultation depends on the scope of the services provided but is typically between €80 and €110.

As a self-paying patient, you are responsible for covering the cost of your treatment. These expenses will not be reimbursed by your statutory health insurance provider.

How do I begin psychotherapeutic treatment?

If you are considering psychotherapy, we kindly ask you to contact us by email first to inquire whether initial appointments for outpatient psychotherapy are currently available. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you require a psychiatric consultation report ("Konsiliarbericht") for psychotherapy with a psychological psychotherapist, please schedule a psychiatric evaluation with our practice.

Do you have a waiting list for psychotherapeutic treatment?

Yes! After the initial consultation, you will be placed on my waiting list.

I need a specialist medical certificate. Can you issue it for me?

Yes! A private medical examination will be carried out in accordance with the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ) for the preparation of a medical certificate or expert opinion. The cost of the examination is generally €102.00. Please note that the outcome of the medical assessment may differ from your personal expectations.

The fee for the medical certificate or expert opinion depends on its scope and the specific questions to be addressed and will be discussed with you after the examination. In some cases, additional fee-based appointments may be required.

Do you also prepare expert reports?

Yes! Of course you can come to my psychiatric consultation and continue your psychotherapeutic treatment with your current therapist.

I receive the following message when trying to book an appointment: “Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to book this appointment online. […]”. What does this mean?
